Woldingham Fort is a Second World War auxiliary unit mobilisation centre located approximately five hundred metres south of Whistlers Wood Farm in Surrey. The site served as a defensive installation during the period of heightened military preparedness following the German invasion threat of 1940. Such mobilisation centres were established across southern England to provide secure bases for local defence volunteers and auxiliary units tasked with coordinating resistance operations in the event of invasion. The fort's physical remains reflect the temporary but substantial nature of wartime military construction in the Home Defence scheme.
