Biography

Alice Faye was born in New York City in 1915 and worked as an actress and singer. She appeared in musical films for 20th Century-Fox during the 1930s and 1940s, including On the Avenue (1937) and Alexander's Ragtime Band (1938). She introduced "You'll Never Know" in the 1943 film Hello, Frisco, Hello. Faye died in 1998.
