Biography

Andrew Wood was a vocalist and keyboardist born on January 8, 1966, in Columbus, Mississippi. He was the lead singer and lyricist for the grunge bands Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. In 1980, he formed Malfunkshun with his older brother Kevin Wood on guitar and Regan Hagar on drums, a band in which he performed under the stage persona Landrew the Love Child. He died on March 19, 1990.
