Biography
Dana Andrews was born in Collins, Mississippi, in 1909 and died in 1992. He worked as a film actor and television actor. Andrews appeared in film noir and Western films, and sustained an acting career from the 1940s through the 1980s. He performed as detective Mark McPherson in Laura (1944) and as World War II veteran Fred Derry in The Best Years of Our Lives (1946).
