Biography
David Lewis was an American philosopher born in Oberlin, Ohio on September 28, 1941. He taught at UCLA before joining Princeton University in 1970, where he remained until his death on October 14, 2001. Lewis visited Australia's philosophical community almost annually for more than 30 years.
