Biography
Dean Jagger was born in Lima, Ohio in 1903 and worked as a stage, film, and television actor. He received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Twelve O'Clock High (1949) and was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on the television series Mr. Novak (1963–65). He died in 1991.
