Biography
Dick Miller was born on December 25, 1928, in the Bronx, New York, and worked as a character actor, film and television actor, voice actor, television director, and screenwriter. He appeared in more than 180 films, many produced by Roger Corman, and later worked with directors who had started their careers under Corman, including Joe Dante, James Cameron, and Martin Scorsese. Miller appeared in every film directed by Joe Dante, and his role in Dante's 1985 film Explorers earned him a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He died on January 30, 2019.
