Biography
Eileen Heckart was born on March 29, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio, and worked as a stage, television, and film actor across a career lasting nearly 60 years. She won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and two Emmy Awards, and received three Tony nominations. In 2000, she received the Tony Honor for Excellence in Theatre. She died on December 31, 2001.
