Gene Wilder was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1933 and worked as an actor, comedian, writer and filmmaker. He appeared in films including The Producers, Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein with Mel Brooks, and collaborated with Richard Pryor on Silver Streak, Stir Crazy, See No Evil Hear No Evil and Another You. He portrayed Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory in 1971. He died in 2016.
