George O'Brien was born in San Francisco in 1899 and worked as an actor and film producer. He appeared in silent and sound films from the 1920s through the 1940s, including the 1927 film Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans directed by F. W. Murnau. O'Brien also appeared in Westerns, working with directors David Howard and John Ford across multiple films during the 1930s and 1940s. He died in 1985.
