Biography
Gilbert Gottfried was born in Coney Island, New York in 1955 and worked as a stand-up comedian, actor, voice actor, and podcaster. He provided voices for characters including Iago in Disney's Aladdin franchise, Mister Mxyzptlk in Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League Action, Digit LeBoid in PBS Kids' Cyberchase, and Kraang Subprime in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as the Aflac duck mascot until 2011. He also played Mr. Peabody in the Problem Child franchise, reprising the role across all three films and the animated television series. Gottfried died in 2022.
