Biography
Harry Dean Stanton was born in Irvine, Kentucky in 1926 and worked as an actor and musician across film and television for more than six decades. He appeared in supporting roles in numerous films from 1967 onwards, including Cool Hand Luke, The Godfather Part II, Alien, Repo Man, and The Green Mile. He took lead roles in Paris, Texas and Lucky, the latter released in the year of his death in 2017.
