Biography
Henry Hill Jr. was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 11, 1943, and died on June 12, 2012. He was associated with the Lucchese crime family from 1955 until his arrest on narcotics charges in 1980, when he became an FBI informant. His testimony against former associates resulted in fifty convictions, including those of caporegime Paul Vario and James Burke. He entered the Witness Protection Program following his cooperation with the FBI but was removed from the program in 1987.
