Biography
Herbert Mullin was born in Salinas, California in 1947 and worked as a serial killer. Between the early 1970s, he killed 13 people in California and confessed to these murders, stating they prevented earthquakes. In 1973 he was convicted of two first-degree murders and nine second-degree murders following a trial to determine his legal sanity, and received a life sentence. He was denied parole eight times during his imprisonment and died in 2022.
