Biography

Ira Levin was born in The Bronx, New York in 1929 and died in 2007. He wrote novels including A Kiss Before Dying, Rosemary's Baby, The Stepford Wives, This Perfect Day, The Boys from Brazil, and Sliver, as well as the play Deathtrap. Many of his works were adapted into films, and he received the Prometheus Hall of Fame Award, several Edgar Awards, and the Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1996.
