Biography
Jack Warden was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1920 and worked as a boxer, stage actor, and character actor in film and television. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his roles in Shampoo and Heaven Can Wait, a BAFTA nomination for Shampoo, and a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance in Brian's Song. He died in 2006.
