Biography
Jean Hagen was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1923 and died in 1977. She worked as a film, television, and stage actor. She appeared as Doll Conovan in The Asphalt Jungle (1950) and as Lina Lamont in Singin' in the Rain (1952), receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for the latter role. She was nominated three times for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Margaret Williams on the first three seasons of The Danny Thomas Show (1953–56).
