Biography
Jerry Adler was born in Brooklyn in 1929 and worked as a film and television actor, stage actor, theatre director, and dramaturge. He appeared in the films Manhattan Murder Mystery, The Public Eye, In Her Shoes, and Prime, and held television roles including Herman "Hesh" Rabkin on The Sopranos, Howard Lyman on The Good Wife and The Good Fight, and Mr. Wicker on Mad About You, among others. He died in 2025.
