Biography
Jerry Stiller was born in Brooklyn on June 8, 1927, and died on May 11, 2020. He worked as a comedian and actor across film, television, and voice acting, and was part of the comedy duo Stiller and Meara with his wife Anne Meara, remaining married for over 60 years until her death in 2015. He played Frank Costanza on the sitcom Seinfeld beginning in 1993, a role for which he received an Emmy nomination, and from 1998 onwards took the role of Arthur Spooner on the CBS comedy series The King of Queens.
