Biography
Creighton Tull Chaney, known professionally as Lon Chaney Jr., was born in Oklahoma City in 1906 and died in 1973. He worked as a film and television actor, appearing in horror films for Universal including The Wolf Man (1941), Son of Dracula, and The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942), as well as six films in the Inner Sanctum series. He also played Lennie Small in Of Mice and Men (1939) and took supporting roles in High Noon (1952), The Defiant Ones (1958), and various other Westerns, musicals, comedies, and dramas.
