Marion Ramsey was born in Philadelphia in 1947 and worked as an actress and singer. She appeared regularly on the television series Cos and played Officer Laverne Hooks in the Police Academy films. Her later work included the films Recipe for Disaster and Return to Babylon, as well as television films for SyFy including Lavalantula and 2 Lava 2 Lantula. She died in 2021.
