Maryanne Trump Barry was born in Queens, New York in 1937 and died in 2023. She worked as an attorney and federal judge, becoming an assistant United States attorney in 1974. President Ronald Reagan appointed her to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1983, and in 1999 she was appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit by President Bill Clinton.
