Michael Clarke Duncan was born in Chicago in 1957 and worked as a film and television actor, voice actor, and bodyguard. He appeared in Armageddon, The Green Mile, The Whole Nine Yards, Planet of the Apes, The Scorpion King, Sin City, and Talladega Nights, among other films, and played Kingpin in Daredevil and Spider-Man: The New Animated Series. He also provided voice work for Brother Bear, The Land Before Time XI: Invasion of the Tinysauruses, Brother Bear 2, Kung Fu Panda, and Green Lantern, and voiced Benjamin King in the video game Saints Row. On television he appeared in episodes of Two and a Half Men and took the role of Leo Knox in Bones and its spin-off The Finder. Duncan died in 2012.
