Biography

Pete Rose was an American professional baseball player and manager born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1941. He played in Major League Baseball from 1963 to 1986, including time with the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Montreal Expos, and won a World Series championship with the Phillies in 1980. He managed the Cincinnati Reds from 1984 to 1989. Rose died on September 30, 2024.
