Biography
Richard Basehart was born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1914 and worked as an actor in film, theatre, and television from 1947 to 1983. He won two National Board of Review Awards for his performances in Fourteen Hours (1951) and Moby Dick (1956), and received a BAFTA nomination for Time Limit (1957). He died in 1984.
