Biography
Richard Dysart was born in Augusta, Maine in 1929 and worked as a stage, television, and film actor. He appeared in films including The Hospital, Being There, The Thing, Mask, Pale Rider, and Wall Street. On television, he played Leland McKenzie in L.A. Law from 1986 to 1994, winning a Primetime Emmy Award in 1992 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He died in 2015.
