Robert A. M. Stern was an architect, educator, and author born in Brooklyn on May 23, 1939. He founded the architecture firm Robert A.M. Stern Architects, also known as RAMSA. From 1998 to 2016, he served as Dean of the Yale School of Architecture. He died on November 27, 2025.
