Biography
Robert Alda was born in New York City in 1914 and worked as a stage, film, and television actor and singer. He appeared in Broadway productions before relocating to Italy in the early 1960s, where he acted in European films over the following two decades while making occasional returns to the United States for film work, including The Girl Who Knew Too Much in 1969. He was the father of actors Alan and Antony Alda. He died in 1986.
