Biography
Robert Francis Vaughn was born in New York City in 1932 and worked as a film, television, stage, and voice actor over a career spanning nearly six decades. He is known for playing secret agent Napoleon Solo on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. from 1964 to 1968. Vaughn won a Primetime Emmy Award and received nominations for the Academy Award, the BAFTA Award, two Laurel Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards. He was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and died in 2016.
