Roger Ailes was born in Warren, Ohio in 1940 and worked as a television executive, media consultant, and businessman. He served as chairman and CEO of Fox News, Fox Television Stations, and 20th Television. Ailes provided media consulting services to Republican presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush, and advised Rudy Giuliani's 1989 New York City mayoral campaign. He departed Fox News in July 2016 following allegations of sexual harassment involving female employees and on-air hosts. He died in 2017.
