Ron Silver was an American actor born in Manhattan in 1946 who worked across stage, film, and television. He portrayed Henry Kissinger, Alan Dershowitz, and Angelo Dundee in various productions. Silver won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play in 1988 for Speed-the-Plow and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his recurring role as Bruno Gianelli in The West Wing. He died in 2009.
