Simone Battle was an American singer, dancer, and actress born in Los Angeles in 1989. She appeared in the television series Zoey 101 and Everybody Hates Chris early in her career, and starred in the 2012 film We the Party alongside Snoop Dogg. She auditioned for the American version of The X Factor in 2011 and was eliminated at the first live show. Battle died in 2014.
