Biography

Stan Musial was born in Donora, Pennsylvania on November 21, 1920. He played baseball professionally in Major League Baseball for 22 seasons, serving as an outfielder and first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals between 1941 and 1963, with an interruption from 1945. The Baseball Hall of Fame inducted him in 1969 during his first year of eligibility. He died on January 19, 2013.
