Biography

Steve James was born in New York City in 1952 and worked as an actor, stunt performer, and screenwriter. He appeared in action films during the 1980s including the American Ninja series, The Delta Force, The Exterminator, and Avenging Force, many produced by Cannon Films. He portrayed Kung Fu Joe in the 1988 film I'm Gonna Git You Sucka and its 1990 television pilot spinoff Hammer, Slammer, & Slade. He died in 1993.
