Ted Post was an American director of films, television, and theatre who was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1918 and died in 2013. During the 1950s and 1960s, he directed episodes for several television series and received a Primetime Emmy nomination and two Directors Guild of America Award nominations. His feature films included Hang 'Em High and Magnum Force, both starring Clint Eastwood, as well as Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Go Tell the Spartans, and Good Guys Wear Black.
