William Daniels was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 31, 1927. He worked as an actor across television, film, and stage, and as a voice actor and musician. He played Mark Craig on the drama series St. Elsewhere, winning two Primetime Emmy Awards for the role, and provided the voice of KITT on Knight Rider. He portrayed George Feeny on the sitcom Boy Meets World, which brought him four People's Choice Award nominations, and later reprised this character in the sequel series Girl Meets World. He also appeared as Carter Nash in Captain Nice and reprised his Knight Rider role in the television movie Knight Rider 2000.
