History & Significance

The Tripartite Indenture of 1405 between Glyndwr, Edmund Mortimer and the Earl of Northumberland plans to divide England and Wales between them if their combined revolt succeeds. The agreement legitimises Glyndwr claim to a larger Wales including much of the March. Military planning accompanies the diplomatic agreement though the wider Percy revolt fails at Bramham Moor.
