History & Significance

Glyndwr conducts his last recorded raids into the Brecon area and across toward Gwent in 1413, demonstrating a continued if much reduced capacity for organised military action. Henry V accession brings renewed offers of pardon rejected by Glyndwr. His son Maredudd eventually accepts pardon in 1421 but Glyndwr himself disappears into legend.
