Allen smelt mill, flue system and chimneys is a scheduled ancient monument comprising the remains of an eighteenth-century lead smelting works located in Northumberland. The site preserves evidence of industrial infrastructure characteristic of the period, including the flue system and chimney structures that formed part of the lead-processing operation. Such smelting mills were integral to the exploitation of the lead ore deposits found in the North Pennines region during the height of that industry.
