Ardifuir Dun is an Iron Age fortified settlement located approximately 2400 metres west of Poltalloch in Argyllshire, Scotland. The site represents a typical example of the dun form of defensive architecture characteristic of Iron Age communities in western Scotland, constructed with stone-built walls designed to provide protection and control over the surrounding landscape. Such duns served as residences for local elites and functioned as centres of power within their territories during the Iron Age period.
