Belladrum is a Neolithic chambered cairn situated approximately 250 metres north-north-east of Brockie's Lodge in Inverness-shire, Scotland. The monument dates to the Neolithic period and represents one of the burial structures characteristic of early farming communities in the Scottish Highlands. The cairn would originally have comprised a stone-built mound covering an internal stone chamber, designed to shelter human remains and grave goods according to Neolithic burial practices. Such chambered cairns are significant archaeological markers of Neolithic settlement and mortuary practice in northern Scotland, providing evidence for early communal burial traditions and social organisation during the period of transition to agriculture.
