Ben Rulibreck Dun is an Iron Age fortified settlement situated 570 metres north-east of Vatersay in Inverness-shire, Scotland. The monument consists of a dun, a type of small circular or oval stone-built defensive structure characteristic of Iron Age settlement in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. As with many duns of this period, the site would have served as a residence for a local elite family, providing both domestic accommodation and fortified protection. The structure reflects the settlement patterns and social organisation of Iron Age communities in the region during the first millennium BC.
