Bilbury Rings is a Neolithic causewayed enclosure situated near Devizes in Wiltshire. The monument comprises two concentric rings of ditches with internal banks, characteristic of causewayed enclosures of the fourth millennium BC, a form of settlement and gathering place used during the early Neolithic period. The site remains largely unexcavated, though surface archaeology and aerial photography have confirmed its structure and classification within the established corpus of similar monuments across southern England. Its survival as an upstanding earthwork makes it an important example of Neolithic monumental architecture in the Wiltshire landscape.
