Bruthach an Tionail Ard is a wheelhouse settlement located at Kilpheder in South Uist, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The site comprises the remains of Iron Age domestic structures characteristic of the Atlantic wheelhouse tradition, a distinctive building form found across the Scottish islands and dating to approximately the first centuries BC and AD. The wheelhouse design featured a central hearth surrounded by radial stone partitions that extended from a central wall to the outer wall, creating a wheel-like floor plan that provided structural support and internal divisions for habitation. Archaeological investigation at Kilpheder has contributed to understanding of Iron Age settlement patterns and domestic life in the Hebridean islands during this period.
