Burn of Edramucky is an ancient shieling and roadway system located approximately six hundred metres west of Leacann Ghlasa in Perthshire, Scotland. The site comprises evidence of pastoral settlement infrastructure associated with transhumance practices, whereby communities moved livestock to upland pastures during summer months. The shielings represent temporary or seasonal occupation sites utilised for dairy production and animal husbandry, whilst the associated roadways document the routes used for driving stock between lowland winter grounds and highland summer pastures. This landscape feature, recorded under Historic Environment Scotland designation SM6165, reflects the medieval and early modern pastoral economy that characterised the Scottish Highlands.
