Burnt mound is a prehistoric burnt mound, or fulacht fiadh, located in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. This monument type dates to the Bronze Age and consists of a mound composed of heat-fractured stone and charcoal-rich soil, evidence of repeated heating and cooling cycles. Fulachtaí fiadh are thought to have functioned as cooking sites, possibly for the preparation of large quantities of food, though their precise use remains debated among archaeologists. The site's survival provides important evidence for Bronze Age settlement patterns and domestic practices in the Ulster landscape.
