Cairn on a low ridge on the east side of Ravock, Bowes Moor is a prehistoric funerary monument located in the upland landscape of Yorkshire. The cairn dates to the Bronze Age and represents the burial practices of communities inhabiting the Pennine moorlands during this period. Situated at approximately 860 metres west south west of West Stoney Keld, the monument survives as a stone heap on a low ridge on the eastern side of Ravock, positioned within the characteristic landscape of Bowes Moor where similar funerary monuments cluster. The cairn's survival on this moorland setting provides evidence of Bronze Age settlement patterns and funerary activity in the northern Pennines.
