Carnan Beag is a Neolithic chambered cairn situated on Great Bernera in Ross-shire, standing 350 metres south-south-west of Hacklete. The monument is constructed upon bedrock of the Lewisian Complex, ancient gneiss formed during the Proterozoic era, which forms the foundation of the Outer Hebrides and much of the north-west Scottish mainland.
