Castle of Findon is a hillfort and later castle complex located in Banffshire, Scotland, that demonstrates occupation across multiple periods from the Iron Age onwards. The site comprises an Iron Age fort with substantial defensive earthworks, positioned to command views across the surrounding landscape, characteristic of prehistoric fortified settlements in north-east Scotland. Later medieval structures were added to the site, reflecting its continued strategic importance and reuse through different historical periods. The monument represents an important example of the long-term occupation and evolution of fortified sites in the region, from Iron Age hill forts through to later castle development.
