Catley Priory is a Benedictine monastic foundation located in Lincolnshire, dating from the 12th century. The priory was established as a daughter house and represents an important example of the medieval religious establishments that characterised the East Midlands landscape during the High Middle Ages. Though now ruined, the site preserves substantial remains of its monastic buildings and the associated earthworks that define its former layout. The priory remained in occupation until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the mid-16th century, after which the site gradually fell into decay.
